Trapeze / Zurich Transport Featured in Rail Express
The transport authority of Zurich, Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ), was featured in Issue 1 2018 of Rail Express. VBZ is a long-time customer of Trapeze Group and has an advanced system comprising an automatic vehicle location and control system (AVLC), centralised control centres, comprehensive radio and digital communications systems, plus dynamic passenger information displays in vehicles and on platforms around the network.
In this article, VBZ’s Peter Flury explains how Trapeze’s ITS solution helps Zurich manage its daily operations, avoid downtime and keep passengers informed at all times.
